Delivery
All prices are displayed in New Zealand dollars, exclusive of goods and services tax (GST) and all purchases will be billed in NZD.
Online delivery orders are available only to valid NZ addresses. If you are outside of NZ email us at help@reseneauto.co.nz for more information.
How long will it take to get my order?
We courier most of our online orders on an overnight service with the exception of rural delivery addresses. For general item orders received before 12pm, Monday to Thursday, we aim to dispatch your order that same day. Orders received after 12pm may be dispatched the following business day. If you have ordered from a branch that is interisland, delivery time may extend up to 3 business days.
For general item orders received after 12pm on Friday and over the weekend your order will be processed for delivery and dispatched on Monday or the next standard working day (if Monday is a public holiday).
If there will be a delay to your order we will email you and advise you of an estimated delivery time. If this is unsatisfactory we can provide you with a full refund, which you should request via an email to help@reseneauto.co.nz.
Refunds may take 2 - 3 business days to process.
We will send you a dispatch email once we have processed your order which will include the track and trace number for the delivery company so you can keep track of your order’s progress.
Note: Delivery times will be slower over statutory holiday periods as courier companies do not operate on these days. Business days are classed as Monday-Friday and exclude statutory holidays.
Click & Collect Orders
For click and collect orders we will make up your order as soon as we can. Once your order is ready to be collected from your local branch we will send you an email notification. Please note Resene Automotive opening hours vary, we are not open on weekends.
How much will it cost to send my order? (NZ Only)
Delivery charges are calculated on the total order value.
<$250 excluding gst $10.00
>$250 excluding gst FREE
There is an additional DG surcharge of $5 that applies for orders that contain one or more Dangerous Good items. This surcharge does not apply when the order value is larger than $250 excluding gst.
Returns
If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy.
If you change your mind about a product you can exchange or return it within 30 days of purchase provided the goods are returned in the original packaging and condition.
Exceptions to this are as follows:
• Tinted paints or items ordered on indent or custom-made cannot be exchanged or returned unless there is a product fault so please choose carefully. Indent items are those ordered in especially for your order that are not normally held as shop stock.
For paints/accessories that are not faulty:
Sorry, but we are unable to accept paint or accessory returns more than 30 days after purchase or if the paint/ accessory item is from a discontinued range, packaging or product is damaged in any way (other than a product fault) or it is not in its most current packaging.
Returns must be in original packaging and condition and accompanied by your transaction receipt.
Returns and exchanges can be made at any of our Resene Automotive Stores, if you are unable to reach one alternative arrangements can be made - please contact us at help@reseneauto.co.nz. Unless the product is faulty, you will need to cover the cost of returning the product to your local Resene Automotive store or alternative agreed location.
